Jessica and Keith got married at Liuna Gardens, a beautiful wedding venue I’d personally never been to before. After being friends with Jessica’s sister Christine for over a decade, it was only natural that Jessica asked me to photograph her Liuna Gardens wedding. Located in the Stoney Creek area of Hamilton, Ontario, and on the shores of Lake Ontario, Liuna Gardens offers a picturesque view of the lake and the Toronto skyline (check out the last image in this gallery for a stunning view).
One thing I always appreciate as a wedding photographer is having the ceremony, photo session, and reception all at one location. It’s easier for everyone involved, from the wedding party to the guests to the vendors. Liuna Gardens is ideal for that, with the grounds being exceptionally well kept and offering many picture-perfect opportunities. Liuna is photographer-friendly in so many ways, including the extremely long walkway to the altar which guarantees a multitude of great shots of the bridal party approaching. I’d highly recommend it if amazing photos are one of your top priorities for your wedding day (and why wouldn’t it be?).
